Those Kitchen Abs

There is an old bodybuilding saying that says, “Great abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym.” While you may put your abs on beast mode through intense workouts, it won’t make that much of a difference if you aren’t eating right. Remember, junk in, junk out.
Personal trainer Timothy Roberts of BodiesByTim gives an example of his diet for a typical day:
Meal (AM)
4 Egg Whites
Paleo Toast and Cashew Cutter
Whole Avocado
1 Medium Banana
Meal (Post workout)
9oz Lean Ground Turkey Patty
Homemade Sweet Potato Fries
Watermelon Spring Green Salad
(You can sprinkle some bleu cheese over top)
Meal (PM)
7oz Lemon Peppered Salmon Filet
Honey Mustard Asparagus
Handful of Walnuts
